Caroline G. Bennett B.A. in English Davidson College
Because being an English major in college limited my ability to take many science courses beyond the pre-medical requirements, I planned to spend this year strengthening my science background through a lab position while applying to medical school. But when I heard about Georgetown's Special Master's Program, I instantly knew that it was right for me. It is a truly unique opportunity to prepare for medical school through coursework and through exposure to the medical academic setting. On a daily basis, I am surrounded by enthusiastic, approachable professors and a diverse group of classmates who all share a common goal and passion for medicine. I will leave this program with much more than a master's degree; Georgetown has given me lasting friendships and confidence in my ability to succeed in medical school.
