Fall Orientation is primarily for biomedical M.S. and Ph.D. students who will commence their graduate program to coincide with the start of classes for the Fall semester in late August.

Attendance at the general orientation program is considered mandatory for all biomedical M.S. and Ph.D. students.  Attendance at the accompanying laboratory safety classes is considered mandatory for all biomedical Ph.D. students, and for all M.S. students whose academic curriculum includes a laboratory component.

IMPORTANT: Separate orientation programs are held for students matriculating into the special master's program in Physiology (SMP) and the M.S. in Physiology with specialization in Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM).  For more information, please visit the SMP and CAM websites.  Students matriculating into either SMP or CAM should not attend the general orientations events as noted on this website.
